Why Book Affordable Corporate Event Photography in Las Vegas?

Divine covers corporate events within the radius of roughly 30 miles of Las Vegas. Award ceremonies, product launches, leadership retreats, holiday party, conferences and trade show stands. Pricing goes per hour and depends on the number of photographers involved. Reception lasting two hours and trade show lasting three days will be quoted differently.

Corporate photography tends to become expensive due to several reasons. One is an overbooking of coverage in terms of hours needed or of photographers. A four-hour dinner with forty people doesn’t need two photographers working for five hours. Another issue is an additional editing, payment after the event, and obtaining additional files that marketing staff thought was included in the initial package.

We prevent this. Prior to the shooting session we discuss with you the run of show and establish those moments when the photographer should take pictures. This might be a keynote speech, the award ceremony, or one hour of the reception. The coffee break in-between will probably not be needed.

After the event you will receive a full-resolution gallery of photographs that you will be able to keep. Your marketing department may share it on social media, the recruitment team may place pictures in recruiting presentation. As for us we ask for giving the name of the photographer when using the pictures.

An effective corporate photograph set is tailored for its future user. That is it must include pictures made in the horizontal format for your website, in the vertical one to be used in stories, close-ups of the logos and sponsors wall, the speaker during his/hers speech with slides being displayed behind, and enough candids so that everybody who travelled would be found in the album.

For a conference or product launch event we may provide you the album of highlights that same evening. Your staff is able to share photographs of the event on it while it is taking place, not in two weeks time when nobody cares. In case of multiday show it happens daily.

Lighting is a thing often overlooked. Most of the corporate events take place in ballrooms or convention halls and take place in the evening time. A client of another Las Vegas photographer described a networking event on Thumbtack in such words: “We wanted to capture candid photos throughout the night in a dark room, and the photos came out excellent!”. Such shooting in the dark rooms is our daily job.

One of the most useful additions for corporate client is setting up headshot booth. During the course of the event the light studio will be set in the lobby for two hours and the whole team will update their profiles pictures all at once. Booking a dedicated day of shootings in this case will cost you more and take people away from work.

Second addition is the services of a makeup artist. Divine is a mobile beauty company, so we may arrange a simultaneous work of a makeup artist with a photographer for keynote speakers, corporate executives or anybody that will appear on stage and in photographs. Thus, this is a one-time booking and one invoice.

Trade show exhibitors require another set of pictures. These are shots of an empty booth, a booth with visitors inside and lastly with the team in front of the branding. As a Las Vegas trade show exhibitor mentioned in Thumbtack: the photographer “went above and beyond to meet all our photography needs” while shooting his booth. These three shots usually do the job and don’t take much time of a photographer.

The clients we talk with belong to some categories. First of all, the event organizers who manage conferences for out-of-city clients and need an affordable and reliable photographer that can shoot their events without having to fly a photographer from the other city. Secondly, marketing teams of local companies organizing an event or two each year. Thirdly, HR departments who are planning holiday party or an award ceremony. And finally, the exhibitors who rented an exhibition booth and need proofs for their bosses of money spent on it.

Everybody has some special requirements: organizer needs reliability and promptness of the photographer; marketing team is interested in getting highlights fast for their social; HR departments are interested in seeing all departments presented in the gallery; exhibitors want their booth, traffic in it and the team standing in front of it.

This is why we ask so many questions prior to quoting. Affordable corporate event photography is not about the low hourly rate. It is about spending money only for the coverage that will serve the interests of people who will use these pictures. Two-hour session may be more useful than eight-hour work of photographer wandering the room.

Booking an outsider from other city will lead to additional airfare, hotel accommodation and travel days. A local photographer that already knows the convention centers and Strip ballrooms saves all that.

Send us the date, venue, hours, and guest numbers. If you have any shot list, send it. If not, we will ask all the necessary questions: who should be included into the pictures, which moments cannot be missed, and where the photographs will be used. Quotes are normally sent back on the same day.

For companies that organize events monthly or quarterly the standing rate will make the photography of the corporate event more affordable and predictable. The price is established well in advance, even before planning the event.
